Set Up Mail Account in Windows Mail

Open Microsoft Windows Mail

If a window similar to image w-mail-01 appears, skip to the next step. If it does not, you'll have to click on Tools > Accounts... and then click on Add... (shown in w-mail-01-a and w-mail-01-b). Selecting E-mail Account and clicking Next (shown in w-mail-01-c) will take you to the window shown in w-mail-01.


 


 

 

 

Fill in your name and click Next (See w-mail-02 for an example).


 

Fill in your email address and click Next (See w-mail-03 for an example).


 

Make sure POP3 is selected and set your Incoming and Outgoing servers to mail.YourDomain.com (YourDomain.com represents everything after the "@" sign in your email address).

Make sure the check-box for Outgoing server requires authentication is checked and click Next.

The E-mail username should be your full email address. Enter your Password and check the box to remember it if you'd like. Click Next. See w-mail-05 for an example.




 

Click Finish as seen in w-mail-06


 

Mail Test

Enter your email address in the box below and click the Send Test button.

A test message will be sent to you immediately.
